LIBERALS JOIN IN HOPE
It has been over sixteen years since a Liberal Party Candidate Nomination Meeting was last held in London West. For many of the current and new Liberal members the process may not be that clear. This issue of the Westerner provides an overview of the process and includes the profiles of the three, nay two, gentlemen seeking your vote to become our next Member of Parliament.See Pages 4-6.
The Nomination Meeting has been CALLED for Thursday, September 10, 2009 to be held at the Hellenic Centre, 133 Southdale Road West.Registration begins at 6pm.The speeches begin at 6:30pm followed by the voting to 10pm.
London West Liberal Association has seen a threefold increase in our membership though the Nomination Process. We now number just below 900 members.
While this influx is representative of a Nomination process, it is our hope that new members continue to get involved in the Association beyond the Nomination election.
The Association has Policy, Membership, Youth, Fundraising, Communications, Operations and Campaign Readiness committees that are always open to new talent.
